A sports delegation from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will arrive in South Korea for the Pyeongchang Olympics on Thursday afternoon.
The 32-personnel delegation includes 10 athletes, who will be competing in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, figure skating and short-track speed skating. They will register at the Pyeongchang Olympics Center and then check in at the Gangneung athletes' village. The ten DPRK athletes will be flying in with a South Korean skiing team after carrying out joint training in the DPRK on Wednesday. A total of 22 DPRK athletes, including twelve women's ice hockey players who arrived last week, will be competing in South Korea. The South Korean government has beefed up security ahead of the arrival of all the athletes.
