China on DPRK’s latest missile launch: countries should maintain restraint

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying has released a statement expressing opposition to the DPRK's test-launch of a ballistic missile on Sunday. 
“The current situation in the Korean Peninsula is complex and sensitive,” said Hua. “All sides should maintain restraint and should not take actions that would further escalate tensions in this region.”
Hua said in the statement that China is aware of the launch and is against such action which violates the United Nations Security Council’s related resolution.
