JPMorgan: Chinese economy is healthy despite risks

Jing Ulrich, the managing director and vice chairperson of Asia-Pacific at JP Morgan Chase, presented her outlook on the Chinese economy in 2017.  

"China's economic growth is on a very healthy track...so this year, we think China's economy can definitely meet Chinese government's growth target 6.5 percent,” said Ulrich.

Ulrich also talked with CGTN’s Yang Chenxi on Tuesday about the risks that the Chinese economy may be confronted with including heavy debt burdens by some Chinese companies. But she said that the Chinese government has already taken actions to reduce such financial risks.
