The Chinese Foreign Ministry has urged India to withdraw the border troops who trespassed into Chinese territory.

"As we have clearly pointed out, Indian border guards crossed over the border in the Sikkim sector and went into China's territory. The remarks by the Indian Chief of Army Staff also proved the untruthful nature of previous reports by the Indian media.” Lu Kang, spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry said.

He noted that China wants India to stick to the historic deal regarding borders the two countries made, respecting China's territorial sovereignty and withdraw the troops who crossed the border.
