Syrian opposition returns to Astana peace talks

Syria’s opposition have returned to peace talks being held in Astana on Thursday, Reuters has reported.
The announcement came one day after opposition delegates said they had suspended their participation in the two-day talks in the Kazakh capital, aimed at finding a solution to the six-year-conflict.

Diplomatic efforts to end the fighting in Syria have gained momentum in recent months with the announcement of a ceasefire in the Arab country in early January.
