In Tunisia, hundreds of people in the capital Tunis are marking the anniversary of the country's 2011 uprising with a new protest. Demonstrators are protesting against poverty and unemployment, as new austerity measures they claim leave the rest of the country starving and poor. In 2011, the country toppled President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali after 23 years in power. In this past week, a wave of peaceful protests and night-time unrest hit cities and towns across the country. Over 800 people have been arrested.
