Protests in Tunisia: More than 900 arrests in anti-austerity violence

More than 930 people have been arrested in violent protests against austerity measures in Tunisia.
The protests kicked-off last week, with people voicing their anger against higher taxes, and price increases imposed by the government. According to an interior ministry spokesman, 41 people aged between 13 and 19 were detained amid a fresh wave of protests. Earlier, the government pledged extra aid for poor families and those in need, in response to the demonstrations. Authorities also said that the week of unrest, has left 105 security personnel injured.
