India Republic Day: Celebrations include grand parade in New Delhi

India is celebrating its 69th Republic Day. Celebrations included a grand parade along the ceremonial boulevard Rajpath in New Delhi. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi was joined by 10 ASEAN leaders who attended as chief guests. Republic Day honours the date when India's constitution went into effect -- January 26th, 1950.
