Sanchi Collision: Investigation into deadly accident continues

Now to the latest on the Sanchi collision. The Chinese Transportation Ministry says the investigation into the accident continues, and that officials will keep in close contact with all sides.
China has set up an incident investigation team and will invite professionals and all related parties to witness the restoration of the navigation data recorder. The three bodies that were recovered from the accident have been transferred to the governments of Iran and Bangladesh, in accordance with international treaties and laws. The Panama-registered oil tanker Sanchi had been carrying 113-thousand tonnes of light crude oil from Iran. It collided with the CF Crystal, a Hong Kong-registered bulk freighter, on January 6th. All 32 crew members on the Sanchi were lost.
