South Korea is welcoming the DPRK's participation in the opening ceremony of next month's Winter Olympics. Seoul said this would aid peace and the easing of tensions on the peninsula. The International Olympic Committee said delegations from the two countries will march together under the name of Korea. An athlete from each side will carry the Korean Unification Flag and they'll wear the joint-team uniform. This will be the first time in Olympic history that athletes from the two nations have been on the same team. They'll compete under the three-letter code C-O-R.
