Taiwan Earthquake: Magnitude-6.5 quake in Hualien County kills 7, injures over 200

We begin in Taiwan, where at least seven people have been killed and more than 200 injured after a magnitude-6.5 earthquake hit Hualien County. According to the local disaster relief administration, over 200 people have been rescued, but there are still dozens missing, with most of them trapped in the Yun Men Tusi Ti building. Six tourists from the mainland have been sent to hospital in Hualien and one of them is in critical condition. Four buildings have either tilted or collapsed, and many roads are damaged. Over 35-thousand households have been hit by water supply interruptions, and more than 200 households have no power. Around 400 soldiers and 3 transport planes are now involved in rescue work.
