China's top nuclear envoy Wu Dawei will travel to South Korea on Monday for a five-day visit. He will meet with his South Korean counterpart Kim Hong-kyun to discuss a response to Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programs.
The DPRK test-fired another ballistic missile into the sea off its eastern coast on April 5 as South Korea continued with its plans to deploy the US missile defense system THAAD. China and Russia have both expressed grave concern over the deployment, saying it would change the strategic balance in the region.
