Pyongyang has told Seoul it will send a seven-member delegation to the South on February 6th. Head of the North's Samjiyon Orchestra, Hyon Song-wol, will lead the team.

The art troupe hopes to perform at the Gangneung Arts Center on February 8th, and the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on the 11th. The DPRK also said it will send a 15-member ice hockey team on January 25th, along with its advance team to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. The International Olympic Committee has announced the North will send 22 athletes to the PyeongChang Games in three sports --skating, skiing and ice hockey.
