Houston's mayor has imposed an overnight curfew, as armed robberies and looting have added to the wrath of Tropical Storm Harvey. Mayor Sylvester Turner said from 10PM to 5AM, no one is allowed to drive, nor be anywhere out in public across the city.
Meanwhile, several more shelters have opened throughout Houston. The Toyota Center basketball arena has opened its doors along with a nearby concert hall. They will accommodate some of the overflow of people from Houston's convention center, now full at 10-thousand. An additional shelter has opened on the city's west side, where more than 3-thousand homes have flooded. Police say tens of thousands of flood victims are still without shelter, many of them trapped in their homes. The latest flood casualty is a police officer, who drowned trying to save several victims.
