Religious leaders from China, Laos, Cambodia and other Asian countries met on the sidelines of this year's Boao Forum for Asia. They discussed ways to enhance mutual trust and cultural exchanges.
Yin-Shun, the Vice Chairman of China's Buddhism Association, said the vision of China's Belt and Road Initiative not only involves monetary circulation and the communication of policies, but also understanding between people. Leaders agreed that religious beliefs can enhance a sense of identity and better promote cultural exchanges.
