Looking at British-China relations now. Commerce Minister Zhong Shan and British Trade Secretary Liam Fox have exchanged views on bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Zhong said at Wednesday's meeting with Fox that China is willing to strengthen exchanges of experience, so as to increase mutual understanding. Zhong said that the two countries need to carry out effective cooperation in such areas as green energy and high-end manufacturing. Fox said that the interactions between China and Britain have been increasing and that Beijing is playing an ever larger role in the international system.
