Dozens injured as two trains collide in Moscow

Two Russian Railways trains crashed in western Moscow, injuring around 50 people on Saturday evening.
“At that moment, 445 passengers and a train crew were on board a long-distance train, and the driver, his assistant and two ticket inspectors were on the inter-urban train," Investigative Committee spokesperson Tatiana Morozova told RIA Novosti.

Footage filmed by eyewitnesses suggested that four carriages were derailed.
TASS  news agency reported that the commuter train’s driver pulled an emergency brake after a person attempted to cross the railway tracks in front of it.
Dmitry Puchkov, head of the Emergencies Ministry, said that foreign citizens are among the victims of the crash, according to Russia Today.
Fire and rescue brigades have been working at the scene and have evacuated all the passengers. /CFP Photo
