US President Donald Trump is planning to host Chinese President Xi Jinping next month at his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort, US media reported on Monday, citing officials familiar with the plans.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying explained that both China and the US attach great importance to enhancing exchanges at high and various levels, saying “we are in close communication with each other about that. If there is any further information, we will let you know.”

It has also been reported that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will visit China this coming weekend. Hua said “we will release relevant information on the specific arrangement and agenda of Secretary Tillerson’s visit to China in due course."
