Xiang Junbo, the chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC), is under investigation for suspected violations of discipline, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), China's top disciplinary watchdog, announced on Sunday.
The CIRC regulates the Chinese insurance products and services market, and oversees the insurance industry.
