The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation announced the teams that have qualified for the upcoming Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. China picking up three spots in Bobsleigh, making their first appearance at the event at the Winter Games.

The Chinese earning a spot in the 4-man, and two spots in the 2-man bobsleigh. They also secured a berth in Skeleton, with Geng Wenqiang set to represent China in Pyeongchang. The teams were established in late 2015 after China won the rights to hold the 2022 Winter Olympics. The national team has attended a series of events to accumulate points to reach the Olympics. They are now finalizing preparations for Pyeongchang in Switzerland.
