Myanmar Earthquake: Magnitude-6.0 quake hits central Bago region

A magnitude-6.0 earthquake has hit the Bago region in central Myanmar. It struck just before 1 AM. The USGS says it hit some 40 kilometers from the town of Phyu, at a depth of 10 kilometers. People in Yangon, Myanmar's largest city felt it 176 kilometers away. Two magnitude-5.3 aftershocks followed. So far, there have been no reports of casualties, injuries, or property damage.
