All eyes are on the DPRK's fifth session of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) on Tuesday, as the country's leader Kim Jong-un may respond to recent tensions in the Korean Peninsula as well as South Korea's presidential election.
The SPA is the DPRK's legislative body and the highest organ of state power. Its responsibilities include amending the constitution, formulating domestic and foreign polices and electing senior officials.
