Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded a special shirt by club president Florentino Perez to mark the Portuguese's 400th goal for Los Blancos.
The 32-year-old scored a hat-trick in the Champions League semi-final first leg against city rivals Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, which brought up the milestone, despite some confusion surrounding the number.
This is the latest record for the striker who, in recent weeks, became the first player to score back-to-back hat-tricks in Champions League knock-out matches after also netting thrice against Bayern Munich, and the all-time leading goal scorer in the last four of the competition.
The three he bagged in mid-week took his official tally to 399, but the former Manchester United man claims to have scored another back in 2010 which was actually accredited to defender Pepe. The Champions of Europe have given Ronaldo the benefit of the doubt after not referencing the issue on their website.
Regardless, it takes nothing away from the world's most famous number seven, and arguably the world's greatest player, whose achievement comes in 389 games since signing for the club in 2011.
