British PM Theresa May says French President-elect Emmanuel Macron will have a strong position in international negotiations, thanks to his strong mandate.
May asked for the same at a campaign event in London on Monday, when she urged British voters to give her a Macron-style mandate when they go to the polls on June 8.
She said that the British government elected after June 8 would meet with Macron to discuss passports and other issues.
