Discordant with recent softer gestures, the DPRK slammed South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Sunday, for praising US roles in pressuring Pyongyang to talks. The Korean Central News Agency said "ill-boding remarks chilling the atmosphere for reconciliation are heard from South Korea" -- referring to Moon's new year press conference last week, in which he thanked US President Donald Trump and reiterated the South Korea-US alliance. The KCNA also lashed out by mocking the move as currying favor with the US, and casting doubt on the intent to improve bilateral ties. It also warned "the train and bus for carrying our delegation to the Olympics are still in Pyongyang."
