President Xi holds meeting with Finnish PM on bilateral ties

China is willing to join hands with Finland to promote the two countries' bilateral cooperation in scientific and technological innovation, environment protection, as well as tourism and sports, visiting President Xi Jinping told Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila on Wednesday. 
During their talks, Xi spoke highly of China-Finland ties, saying bilateral relations have developed steadily and smoothly. 
The cooperation between the two countries has achieved fruitful results in recent years, noted Xi. 
Talking about China-Europe relations, Xi said that China hopes for a prosperous, stable, open Europe. He has also expressed his wishes that Finland can push for China-Europe relations to play a more positive role.
