Janet Yellen's term as chair of the US Federal Reserve ends this week. US President Donald Trump has nominated current Fed Governor Jerome Powell to head America's monetary authority.
On Friday, all three major US stock indices ended the worst week in about two years. The Dow Jones dropped over 600 points to mark the biggest daily decline since the 2008 financial crisis. Despite the drop, asset valuations in the US remain elevated.
Yellen says she does not believe there is a bubble in US markets, though she is advising investors to remain cautious.
