Storm Carmen: Storm cuts power to 40,000 households in western France

A French power grid company says winter storm Carmen has cut power to about 40-thousand households in western France.
The company says it has mobilized more than 1-thousand staff to restore power supply, and the storm is now moving to other regions. The national weather service put half of the country on orange alert as winds battered the country's Atlantic coast.
