China is preparing for its most important annual political events: The "Two Sessions". This includes the annual plenary session of the National People's Congress, which opens on Sunday, and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, which opens Friday.
Beijing will host thousands of NPC deputies and CPPCC National Committee members from across the country over two weeks.
