The former Prime Minister of France, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, spoke with CGTN about his friendship with President Xi Jinping. He said both himself and President Xi are committed to world peace.

He understands the efforts I've made for keeping world peace. President Xi emphasized in his speech that China supports multilateralism. China has made significant contributions to UN peacekeeping operations, by contributing over 30,000 peacekeepers over the years. Keeping world peace is a common goal shared by President Xi and me. He has autographed the first volume of his book,Xi Jinping: The Governance of China. I now have the second volume and wish to have his autograph again. This is a relationship beyond politics.
