The other men's semi-final will see the relatively unknown Chung Hyeon taking on arguably the best known player and defending champion, Roger Federer. But thanks to his breakout performance, that status is quickly changing for South Korea's Chung who used some of his day off on Thursday to meet his fans.
Prior to this tournament, the 21 year old in green had never made it past the third round of a Grand Slam. Now, he is the first South Korean to ever reach a major semi-final after an incredible run at Melbourne Park that has included a win over childhood idol and six-time champion Novak Djokovic. Chung just joined Twitter on Wednesday and already has over 11,000 followers, a number that will surely grow as millions are expected to tune in to see him face Federer.
