How many Japanese will pour themselves a stiff glass of whisky to help them through that cold spell? Quite a few, judging by the growth in consumption there over the past six years. While much of this may be down to the cold weather, there has also been a huge increase in variety and the government is taking a more relaxed approach on tax. And Japanese whisky is fast getting a name for itself around the world, with the country now exporting more than ever before.
