Lebanon has pledged a diplomatic push to prevent neighbouring Israel's construction of a dividing wall between the two countries. Lebanese President Michel Aoun (mee-SHELL OW-N) said talks were under way with states to prevent Israeli greed. He pledged to confront any attack on Lebanon's territory or waters. Meanwhile, Israel has condemned Lebanon's oil and gas exploration in disputed waters. Israel has been building a wall on its volatile frontier with Lebanon since 2012 -- with the two countries still technically in a state of war.
