China on Wednesday reiterated its firm stance against the use of chemical weapons in response to the alleged chemical attack that has killed at least 72 people in northwestern Syria’s Idlib.
"We oppose the use of chemical weapons by any state, any organization and any individual under any circumstance, especially chemical weapons attacks targeting civilians," said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying at a regular press conference.
China calls for an objective and fair investigation into the attack, added Hua.
