Three new-born penguins take their baby steps at a zoo in northeast China's snowy Heilongjiang province. Their first experience makes them curious about the outside world, but it seems the three baby penguins were not scared at all.
An ice hotel has opened in north China's Inner Mongolia. The hotel covers about 1,000 square meters and is made of 1,500 tons of snow and ice. Unfortunately, it will only be open from January to March as the building will gradually melt.
China Post has issued a special set of stamps to mark the upcoming Year of the Dog. As the circulation of stamps will be reduced by 30 percent this year, stamp collectors across China cannot wait to get their hands on one, even though the Chinese New Year is still one month away.
