Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited a well-known local household appliance company, now majority-owned by a Chinese firm, and took part in cultural activities in Auckland on Tuesday, near the end of his official visit to New Zealand.
After talks with Prime Minister Bill English on Monday, Li said the two sides agreed to upgrade their free trade agreement, which took effect in 2008. This will help develop bilateral economic and trade ties, and better benefit both countries, he said.
