Kids’ perspective on globalization with new Belt & Road ads
[]
CCTV has produced a series of public service ads for the Belt and Road Initiative ahead of Beijing hosting the Belt and Road Forum on May 14 and 15. The ads show the Initiative’s staples of logistics, trade and culture and its aim of increasing prosperity from the perspective of children around the world.
The Belt and Road Initiative aims to connect Asia and Europe in a vast network of roads, railways, pipelines, airports, sea ports, transnational electrical grids and fiber optic lines of communication. Led by China, it is creating an economic land belt traversing Central Asia and the Middle East as well as a maritime road that links China with the ports of the Indian Ocean, East Africa and the Mediterranean. The goal is to bolster trade by overcoming one of the biggest impediments to global growth: chronic lack of infrastructure.
