UEFA Europa League: Arsenal 0 - Red Star Belgrade 0
[]
We switch to football now where Arsenal had the chance to reach the last 32 of the Europa League when they hosted Red Star Belgrade. The Gunners failure to qualify for the Champions League last season meant an end to a 20-year stint in Europe's top competition, but life in the continent's secondary tournament has, so far, been good for the London club, unbeaten with three wins, and looking to reach the knockouts with games to spare. Arsene Wenger once again puts his faith in the youth with midfielder Ainsley Maitland Niles, goalkeeper Matt Macey and forward Edward Nketiah in the squad.

In a frustrating night for the homeside, Olivier Giroud and Theo Wallcott have chances in the first half but the side from the Serbian capital holds firm.

Jack Wilshere, who missed out on an England call up, goes close on the hour mark, only for visiting defender Damien Le Tallec to clear the 25-year-old's effort off the line.

Nil-nil is how it ends. A disappointing night for the large crowd at the Emirates. However, it's enough to see Arsenal top the group with 10 points and seal their place into the knockout stages.
