China has kicked off a debate about planned tariffs on steel and aluminium against the US at World Trade Organization in Geneva. The WTO says major trading partners of the US expressed both commercial and systemic concerns about its tariffs plan and feared retaliations. Delegations who took to the floor included the European Union, Canada, Turkey, Russia, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, India and Brazil.
