China's anti-corruption campaign punishes 210,000 within six months

China's anti-corruption campaign has punished over 210,000 officials in the first half of 2017 for wrongdoing, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, anti-corruption authorities at all levels have received more than 1.31 million public petitions and 256,000 disciplinary cases were filed.
