Chinese and American entrepreneurs held a business forum in Beijing on Thursday, during US President Donald Trump’s first state visit to China. Some of the business leaders spoke with China Central Television after the exchange.
John Garrison, CEO of Terex Corporation, said cooperation between China and the US will make the world “a better place.”
Garrison also shared his impression on President Xi Jinping.
“He is a very dedicated leader and he is very strong. And I think that’s what the world needs,” he said.
As China-US deals worth a total of 253.5 billion US dollars have been agreed in the past two days, Yang Yuanqing, CEO of Lenovo Group, emphasized the importance of mutual trust in bilateral trade.
“We have seen cooperation on a large scale this year and great potential for the future,” said Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics and software company.
