Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Tuesday that the goal of government transformation is to solve problems, to make things easier for people's life, and to respond to people's needs and desires.
Addressing a press conference after the conclusion of the annual session of China's national legislature, Li said that China will cut the time for opening business by another half, reduce the time for reviewing a project application by another half, and use a national level e-platform for exercising government services.
He added that the Chinese government will work to see that people can get things done in one place, without the need for a second trip and that any requirement for certification that has no basis in law or regulations will be abolished.
