28.66 tons of crude benzene stored in a tanker that fell into a river in Yuncheng city, north China's Shanxi Province, were extracted on Thursday afternoon, with the empty vehicle also pulled out of the Fenhe River. So far there are no reports of leakages contaminating the Yellow River. Measures to control contamination are still underway, while water quality monitoring is also ongoing.
