In this "new era," the principal contradiction facing the Chinese society has also evolved, and what China faces now is the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people's ever-growing needs for a better life. That indicates the country will not only continue its economic development but also pay more attention to its social development.
As China moves into this "new era" of development and modernization, it will offer the world a Chinese approach to solving the problems facing humanity.
