In South Korea, prosecutors are expected to resume questioning of former President Lee Myung-bak later today. This will be the first interrogation after his arrest on Thursday night last week. Lee was escorted to the Seoul Eastern Detention Center and placed in a solitary cell. Prosecutors chose not to question him the next day. They said this was to give him some time to rest, as a courtesy for a former head of state. They have up to 20 days to hold him in custody before Lee's detention expires on April 10th. Lee's facing charges of bribery, embezzlement, tax evasion and abuse of power. Yonhap reports Lee could be jailed for up to 45 years, if convicted of all charges.
