The hot ice cream special is called “Respiro Del Diavolo,” which means “breath of the devil,” since one of the ingredients is over spicy chili. The chili’s scoville spicy heat scale can reach to 1,569,300 SHU-a measurement of the pungency. It means the tasty of ice cream is 500 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. /VCG Photo

It is so dangerously spicy that the staff at the café even need to wear gloves when they dish out scoops. Customers who want to try the ice cream need to sign a waiver which mentions “could be a risk of personal injury, illness and possible loss of life.” /VCG Photo
