Those Games kick off a week from today, and will welcome 670 of the world's finest Paralympians for 10 days of action. Among the hundreds heading to PyeongChang will be about two dozen Chinese competitors.
The PRC will send a delegation of twenty-six athletes, who will compete in five sports including wheelchair curling, alpine and cross-country skiing. China will also have competitors in snowboarding and biathlon, the first time to have participants in those sports at the Games. The 26 athletes are the most China has sent to a Winter Paralympics.
