At least 38 people were injured and more than 30 houses damaged after an earthquake struck Iran on Friday morning, local media reported citing authorities. 
With a depth of 10 km, the magnitude-6.1 quake hit 58 km north-northeast of Kerman, a city in the southeast of Iran, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center..
Iran sees frequent seismic activities. On November 12, a magnitude-7.3 quake struck the mountainous region bordering Iraq, killing at least 445 people and injuring more than 7,100 others.
