Chinese national legislature decides new cabinet lineup

The 13th National People's Congress (NPC) began the seventh plenary meeting of its first session on Monday morning in Beijing.
Lawmakers decided on the lineup of the State Council, or China's cabinet, which includes vice premiers, state councilors, government ministers, governor of the central bank, auditor-general and secretary-general of the State Council.

They also voted on the candidates for chairpersons, vice-chairpersons and members of eight special committees of the 13th NPC at the meeting.
