Virgin Galactic on Thursday tested its new VSS Unity spaceship in Mojave, the US. It can reach supersonic speeds on suborbital hops. The company plans to carry tourists into the lower reaches of space where they can see the earth far below and the stars beyond. The spaceship is the company's first powered flight since the fatal crash of its original rocket ship in 2014.
